Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has some bigger awards in his future, but it’s hard to argue with the week he just had.

McCoy was named NFC offensive player of the week, after his huge night in Philadelphia’s 54-11 win over the Bears.

McCoy ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns and added six catches for 29 yards in the beating. He now leads the NFL in both rushing (1,476 yards) and total yards from scrimmage (2,012), entering the finale.

He needs 37 yards rushing and 93 total yards from scrimmage to surpass Eagles franchise records held by Wilbert Montgomery and Brian Westbrook.

And the way the Cowboys have been playing defense, he has a chance to significantly bump those numbers.
