Chargers receiver Kassim Osgood has been in recent years one of the best special teams players in all of football.
But he hasn’t been happy, because he has wanted more opportunities on offense.
Along the way, he took a slap at coach Norv Turner during the 2008 season, calling him a “good coordinator.”
Eventually, the Chargers tried to trade Osgood, but found no takers. Now, Osgood will hit the open market on March 5, and he’ll have a chance to find a team that will give him a chance to supplement his special teams work with running routes and catching passes.
