The Saints made a pair of roster moves Monday, waiving offensive guard Mike Golic Jr. and linebacker Spencer Hadley, according to the NFL’s transaction log.
Golic Jr. signed with the Saints in May after spending the 2013 preseason with the Steelers. A Notre Dame product, Golic Jr. is the son of ESPN’s Mike Golic, an eight-year NFL veteran.
A rookie from BYU, Hadley signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent in May. He recorded 149 tackles in 43 career games with the Cougars.
The Saints now have three open roster spots, according to the club’s roster. One spot is expected to be filled by veteran center Jonathan Goodwin.
