Chase Coffman’s tenure with the Seattle Seahawks lasted just a week.
Coffman was signed last week to provide some additional depth at tight end following Jimmy Graham’s season-ending knee injury. Now the Seahawks may be in search of a different option to back up Luke Willson and Cooper Helfet.
The Seahawks have used fullback/defensive tackle Will Tukuafu as a third tight end at times this season as well and can fill-in when needed.
Coffman’s release leaves the Seahawks with two open roster spots that have yet to be filled. The first was created by the release of Cary Williams on Monday.
