The Panthers are going to have to try to contain Russell Wilson without veteran defensive end Jared Allen today.
But the Seahawks have their own issue on defense, as they’re going to have to try to contain Cam Newton without linebacker Bobby Wagner.
Wagner, who was described as day-to-day with a pectoral strain, was among the Seahawks inactives for today’s game against the undefeated Panthers.
Wagner was joined on the Seahawks inactive list by cornerbacks Tye Smith and Marcus Burley, linebackers Brock Coyle and Nick Moody, defensive end Frank Clark and defensive tackle Jordan Hill.
For the Panthers, running back Brandon Wegher, wide receiver Kevin Norwood, tight end Richie Brockel, tackle Daryl Williams, Allen, linebacker A.J. Klein and safety Dean Marlowe are inactive.
