The Tarvaris Jackson-to-Seattle train started rolling the moment he was cut by the Bills, and has apparently already reached the station.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jackson is expected to sign a one-year contract with the Seahawks.
Jackson was once a captain for the Seahawks, but the leadership clearly belongs to quarterback Russell Wilson now. That was apparent when they sent him to the Bills, though there’s no Matt Flynn to stand in his way now.
If nothing else, he should be an upgrade over Brady Quinn as the Seahawks backup, though that’s hardly a line for anyone’s resume.
