Mike Mularkey and Bob Bratkowski worked together for three different teams in the past and they’ll make it four in 2016.

The Titans announced that Bratkowski will be the wide receivers coach on Mularkey’s staff. The two men worked together in Jacksonville (where Bratkowski was Mularkey’s offensive coordinator), Atlanta and Pittsburgh in the past. Bratkowski has not coached in the NFL since Mularkey was fired after one year as the Jaguars head coach in 2012.

“I just like that I have another coordinator in that offensive room because I like ideas, I like as many ideas that can flow from the staff,” Mularkey said, via the team’s website. “That had a lot to do with it. But I’ve also watched him coach Hines Ward and ... Chad Johnson. He’s been very productive with these guys. He’s a very good teacher.”

Bratkowski was the Bengals offensive coordinator from 2001 to 2010 and ran the Seahawks offense from 1995 to 1998.

Mularkey also announced that running backs coach Sylvester Croom, linebackers coach Lou Spanos, assistant receivers coach Jason Tucker, strength and conditioning coach Steve Watterson, assistant offensive line coach Mike Sullivan and special teams assistant Steve Hoffman will remain in their current jobs. Nick Eason has been promoted to defensive line coach after serving as an assistant position coach last year.
