We mentioned over the weekend that Browns running back Duke Johnson was among the final 12 unsigned picks from the 2015 NFL Draft.
Well, it might be 11 soon.
According to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland, Johnson was in uniform and practicing this morning at minicamp, which is probably a sign his deal is close if not already signed and not reported.
While players can sign injury waivers to cover them in case they’re Dante Fowlered in practice, most guys without deals are hesitant to put themselves out there too far before they have cash in hand.
