The Seahawks will have quarterback Geno Smith in the lineup against the Vikings on Sunday.

Smith injured his knee in last Sunday’s loss to the Packers, but he was able to practice all of this week and he has no injury designation on the team’s final injury report ahead of Week 16. Smith has not missed a start this season.

Running backs Zach Charbonnet (oblique), wide receiver DK Metcalf (shoulder), and running back Ken Walker III (calf) are also without injury designations.

The Seahawks ruled out two players due to injury. Tight end Brady Russell (foot) and linebacker Trevis Gipson (ankle) are not going to play this weekend. Safety K’Von Wallace (ankle) will not be activated from injured reserve ahead of the matchup with Minnesota.

The Vikings gave injury designations to four players on Friday, but cornerback Stephon Gilmore was not one of them.

Gilmore was a full practice participant in practice all of this week and he’s on track to play against the Seahawks on Sunday. Gilmore missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.

The Vikings will still be down one cornerback. Fabian Moreau has been ruled out with a hip injury.

Defensive lineman Jalen Redmond (concussion) is the only other player ruled out for Sunday. Fullback C.J. Ham (ankle) and safety Harrison Smith (foot) are listed as questionable after taking part in practice on a limited basis on Friday.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith took a low hit from a Packers defender on Sunday night. Even though no flag was thrown, Smith suffered a knee injury.

Asked about the play that caused the injury, Smith told reporters this on Thursday, “There is a lot to be thought of. Honestly, they didn’t call a flag so I’m not complaining. It is what it is.”

As NBC rules analyst Terry McAulay said during the broadcast, one or both feet must be on the ground to trigger a foul. Smith was jumping as he was hit.

It seems that the injury had less to do with the hit and more to do with the effort to avoid the hit.

Regardless, Smith has fully participated in practice, both on Wednesday and Thursday. He said Thursday that he expects to play, even if he’s not 100 percent.

“Yeah, a lot of guys are less than 100 percent,” he said. “I’ve been that way pretty much the majority of the season. That’s just the way the NFL goes. But no excuses. Got to go out there and perform.”

The Seahawks need it. They’re tied with the Rams atop the NFC West. And the Rams have a better draw this week; they play the 4-10 Jets. The Seahawks host the 12-2 Vikings.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (knee) remained a full participant in Thursday’s practice, and he had his best weapons back with him.

Running back Kenneth Walker III (calf), receiver DK Metcalf (shoulder) and wide receiver Tyler Lockett (rest) returned to full participation a day after missing practice. Running back Zach Charbonnet (oblique) returned to practice on a limited basis.

Tight end Brady Russell (foot), defensive end Leonard Williams (foot/rest), linebacker Trevis Gipson (ankle), offensive tackle Abraham Lucas (knee/rest) and nose tackle Johnathan Hankins (illness/rest) did not practice.

Russell and Williams missed Wednesday, too, while Gipson was limited Wednesday and Lucas was a full participant. Hankins was not on the report Wednesday.

Center Olu Oluwatimi (knee) and cornerback Tre Brown (hamstring) returned to practice as limited participants, and linebacker Ernest Jones IV (knee) remained limited.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith appears good to go for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. He was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Smith injured his knee in the third quarter of the loss to the Packers.

Geno feels good,” Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said before practice. “He did walkthrough today. We’ve got a plan for practice, we’ll see how it kind of alters his practice as it clears, but he’ll be out there for a significant capacity today. We’ll see how many reps he takes.”

Running back Kenneth Walker III, who missed the previous two games with a calf injury, took part in Wednesday’s walkthrough. He did not practice but is expected to ramp up his workload Thursday.

Running back Zach Charbonnet (oblique) and receiver DK Metcalf (shoulder) also didn’t practice.

Tight end Brady Russell (foot), center Olu Oluwatimi (knee), defensive end Leonard Williams (foot/rest) and cornerback Tre Brown (hamstring) were the other players out of practice with injury.

Tight end Noah Fant (knee), linebacker Ernest Jones IV (knee) and linebacker Trevis Gipson (ankle) were limited.
