How does it feel to speed at up to 90 miles per hour down an icy track in a 400-pound bobsled?

“This is what you need to tell the rookies when they ask what the trip is like,” Lolo Jones said. “You need to tell them it’s like being put in a medal garbage can and thrown off of Mount Everest. That is what a bobsled trip is like.”

Undeterred, Denver’s NBC 9News reporter Matt Renoux took a ride down the 2002 Olympic track in Park City, Utah, at the U.S. Olympic media summit this week.

“For me, it sort of felt like being in a blender on a merry-go-round at high speeds,” Renoux said.
