Peacock To Stream Live, Commercial-Free Coverage Of Every Stage from Start to Finish and Select Early Morning Stages Exclusively As They Happen

STAMFORD, Conn. – July 15, 2021 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of the 108th Tour de France continues this weekend with the final three stages on NBC, NBCSN and Peacock , culminating with the final stage on Sunday, July 18, live at 10:05 a.m. ET on Peacock and 10:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock. The Tour de France Pre-Race Show begins Sunday at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN & Peacock. NBC will provide coverage of Sunday’s final stage at 2 p.m. ET.

Live coverage of Stage 16 begins tomorrow, Friday, July 16 at 6:05 a.m. ET on Peacock. The Tour de France Pre-Race Show starts at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN ahead of NBCSN’s live coverage at 7:30 a.m. ET.

This Saturday’s coverage of Stage 17 begins at 6:55 a.m. ET on Peacock. The Tour de France Pre-Race Show at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

Following today’s Stage 18 victory by defending champion Tadej Pogacar (UAE-Team Emirates) of Slovenia, claiming his third stage win of this year’s Tour de France and second in a row, he currently sits in first place with a 5:45 lead over second-place Jonas Vingegaard (Team Jumbo - Visma) of Denmark. Mark Cavendish, who now has 34 career stage victories, tied with Belgian legend Eddy Merckx for the most in Tour de France history, will seek his fifth victory of this year’s race on the flat stages. American Sepp Kuss earned a Stage 15 victory earlier this week, becoming the first American to win a Tour de France stage in 10 years.

Through Tuesday, NBCSN is averaging 404,000 viewers for the Tour de France – ranking as the most-watched TDF on cable through Stage 16 since 2010, and up 11% from last year’s event (364,000 cable viewers in August-September).

COMMENTATORS

NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2021 Tour de France features Phil Liggett, universally known as the “voice of cycling,” who will call play-by-play race action. Analyst Bob Roll will join Liggett on the call and Steve Porino serves as the reporter from on-site in France.

Paul Burmeister will host daily pre-race and post-race studio coverage, along with former professional cyclist and analyst Christian Vande Velde and American Grand Tour champion Chris Horner. Former professional cyclist Adam Blythe, who retired in 2019, will serve as a reporter in France.

PEACOCK

Peacock will provide live streaming coverage of every stage of the 2021 Tour de France, featuring live, commercial-free, start-to-finish coverage of every stage of the Tour de France, featuring commentary from NBC Sports’ Phil Liggett, as well as the World Feed. Live stream access to La Course by Le Tour begins on Saturday, June 26, beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET. Peacock will also feature full stage replays, highlights, stage recaps and rider interviews. On select days, fans will be able to live stream early morning coverage prior to the start of linear coverage, noted in the chart below.

The Tour de France joins expansive sports programming on Peacock. Upcoming live sports coverage on Peacock includes, Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Premier Lacrosse League, INDYCAR, Premiership Rugby, the 2021-22 Premier League season, 2021 Sunday Night Football, and Super Bowl LVI.
