ORLANDO, Fla. (October 31, 2017) – The eight semifinalists from the 2017 NCAA Golf Championships reconvene in Atlanta this week for the third annual East Lake Cup. Today’s semifinal matches mirror those from the NCAAs earlier this year, with the winners advancing to tomorrow’s championship matches in the respective men’s and women’s divisions. The PGA TOUR is in Las Vegas this week for the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, where Charley Hoffman and Tony Finau headline the field. On the European Tour, Thorbjorn Olesen is set to defend at the Turkish Airlines Open, and will be joined in the field by Justin Rose – coming off a victory last week – along with Henrik Stenson. The LPGA Tour continues its Asia stretch as Shanshan Feng defends at the Toto Japan Classic.

Rematch of 2017 NCAA Championships semifinals: Today’s East Lake Cup semifinal matches will mirror that of both the men’s and women’s NCAA Championships earlier this year: Women’s – Stanford (1) vs. Arizona State (4) and USC (2) vs. Northwestern (3); Men’s – Vanderbilt (1) vs. Oregon (4) and Oklahoma (2) vs. Illinois (3). Winners of today’s semifinal matches will advance to compete in the East Lake Cup championship matches on Wednesday (tomorrow), while teams failing to advance today will compete in tomorrow’s consolation matches.
Golf Central to preview and recap live coverage: Golf Central is originating from on-site at East Lake Golf Club to preview and recap live tournament coverage. Pre-game coverage is scheduled to air from 2-3 p.m. ET, while post-round coverage will air live from 6-7 p.m. ET.
