STAMFORD, Conn. – February 2, 2022 – NBC Olympics has announced its hockey commentary team for the XXIV Olympic Winter Games from Beijing, China, as part of NBCUniversal’s 2,800+ hours of coverage across NBC, Peacock, USA Network, CNBC, NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.
Coverage of the Olympic women’s hockey tournament begins tonight at 11 p.m. ET on USA Network with Canada facing off against Switzerland.
The on-air roster includes Olympians who have won a combined total of nine Olympic medals, including three gold medals.

NBC Olympics’ hockey play-by-play team will be led by Kenny Albert, who has called hockey for every Olympic Winter Games since 2002; Brendan Burke, who returns for his second Olympics assignment and first for the Winter Games; Chris Vosters, in his third Olympic assignment; and John Walton, who returns for his second consecutive Winter Games calling hockey.
Hockey analysts include long-time NHL goalie Brian Boucher, returning for his second assignment with NBC Olympics; 11-year NHL veteran Anson Carter, who returns for his second assignment with NBC Olympics; nine-year NHL veteran Keith Jones, returning for his third Games with NBC Olympics; three-time Olympic medalist Monique Lamoureux-Morando, who led Team USA to the gold medal in PyeongChang and makes her NBC Olympics debut; Two-time Olympic medalist A.J. Mleczko, returning for her seventh assignment with NBC Olympics; 15-year NHL veteran Dom Moore in his NBC Olympics debut; U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer Eddie Olczyk, calling his fourth Olympic Games with NBC; and Hockey Hall of Fame member Angela Ruggiero, a four-time Olympic medal winner making her debut on NBC Olympics’ hockey coverage.
Leila Rahimi will serve as NBC Olympics’ hockey reporter for the men’s and women’s tournaments.
The U.S. women’s team begins its pursuit of a second straight gold medal on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 8 a.m. ET when they face Finland live on USA Network.
Round-robin play will include one of the fiercest rivalries in sports and a rematch of the 2018 women’s gold medal game, when Team USA faces Canada on Monday., Feb. 7 at 11 p.m. ET, live on USA Network.
The men’s Olympic hockey tournament begins Wednesday, Feb. 9, featuring the Russian Olympic Committee vs. Switzerland at 4 a.m. ET live on USA Network.
