STAMFORD, Conn. – May 18, 2018 – NBC Sports will present more than 80 hours of live, comprehensive coverage across nine days of the Thomas & Uber Badminton Cup on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA beginning this Saturday, May 19, at 10 p.m. ET. Coverage concludes with the Thomas (men’s) and Uber (women’s) finals on Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27.
Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA content will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com, OlympicChannel.com, the NBC Sports app, and the Olympic Channel app.
The biennial international badminton championship will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, and features 16 teams in both tournaments. Denmark and China are the defending Thomas and Uber Cup champions, respectively.
Round-robin play begins Saturday at 10 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA with India-France, and coverage concludes with the men’s and women’s finals on Saturday, May 26, at 2 a.m. ET and Sunday, May 27, at 2 a.m. ET. NBCSN will air an encore presentation of the Thomas Cup final at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday.
