NBC SPORTS & PREMIER LEAGUE HEAD TO LOS ANGELES FOR “PREMIER LEAGUE MORNINGS LIVE” FAN FESTIVAL ON OCTOBER 23-24

Two-Day Outdoor, Fully Vaccinated Event to Take Place at Historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

Fan Festival Highlights Nine Matches across Networks of NBCUniversal and Peacock, Culminating on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 11:30 a.m. ET with Manchester United v. Liverpool on NBCSN and Telemundo

STAMFORD, Conn. – September 15, 2021 – NBC Sports and the Premier League take the Premier League Mornings Live fan festival to the West Coast for the first time, travelling to Los Angeles, Calif., on October 23-24, 2021. The two-day fan festival will take place at the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum – home to two Olympic Games (1932 and 1984) and two Super Bowls (I and VII).

The weekend’s event features live action from nine Premier League fixtures across five match windows on the networks of NBCUniversal and Peacock, concluding with Manchester United v. Liverpool on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo.

NBC Sports’ studio team of host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard will broadcast Premier League Mornings Live presented by Barclays from the event beginning each day at 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT on Saturday, Oct. 23 on Peacock and Sunday, Oct. 24 on NBCSN.

The group will be joined by several special guests throughout the festival including former Watford Football Club captain and U.S. Men’s National Team defender Jay DeMerit, who will help bring the celebration to viewers across the country.

Fans in attendance will get the opportunity to see the NBC Sports production in action, and will be part of the background of the broadcast. Soccer fans can sign up for the event here.

Supporters attending the Premier League Mornings Live event, which is being held outdoors and under the iconic peristyle end of the Coliseum beneath the Olympic torch, will be required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Los Angeles fan festival is the sixth Premier League Mornings Live supporter event to be presented by NBC Sports and the Premier League, and the first since December 2019 in Miami Beach, Florida. Previous fan festivals were held in New York, Washington D.C., Boston and Austin, Texas. Nearly 35,000 soccer fans in the U.S. have attended Premier League Mornings Live events to date.

The Premier League has an ongoing commitment to bringing unique experiences to its fans and working with NBC Sports on Premier League Mornings Live continues that direct outreach to passionate fans across the United States.

The weekend’s Premier League coverage will kick off from Los Angeles on Saturday, October 23, with Premier League Mornings Live at 7 a.m. ET on Peacock, followed by Chelsea v. Norwich City at 7:30 a.m. ET (Peacock).

Coverage on Sunday, October 24 begins with a two-hour Premier League Mornings Live at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by West Ham v. Tottenham (9 a.m. ET on NBCSN) and Brentford v. Leicester City (9 a.m. ET on Peacock).

Soccer fans from across the country can interact with the event by sharing their #MyPLMorning on social media, from wherever they are watching. Select viewer photos will be featured on air throughout the weekend.

The April 2020 Philadelphia fan fest, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, is expected to be rescheduled over a future Premier League weekend.
