STAMFORD, Conn. – March 14, 2019 – NBC Sports continues its presentation of the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship this Saturday with comprehensive live coverage of the 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race across NBCSN, CNBC, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
Saturday’s motorsports coverage also features Monster Energy Supercross action from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, which includes live coverage on NBC Sports Gold’s Supercross Pass and NBCSN’s presentation at 11 p.m. ET, following coverage of the 12 Hours of Sebring.
NBC Sports will also present more than 15 hours of Mecum Auctions’ inaugural event in Phoenix this weekend, including live coverage on Friday at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
IMSA 12 HOURS OF SEBRING – COVERAGE BEGINS SATURDAY AT 10:30 A.M. ET ON CNBC
First run in 1952, the IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring is one of North America’s most prestigious endurance races. All four IMSA classes will compete at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Fla., this weekend. The Konica Minolta Cadillac team of Renger van der Zande, Jordan Taylor, Fernando Alonso and Kamui Kobayashi took the overall victory at the rain-shortened Rolex 24 at Daytona in January. Taylor and van der Zande will be joined by France’s Matthieu Vaxiviere to round out their trio competing at Sebring this weekend.
The entry list also features Acura Team Penske members Alexander Rossi, Helio Castroneves, Simon Pagenaud and Juan Pablo Montoya competing in the DPi class; Scott Dixon (Ford Chip Ganassi Racing), Sebastien Bourdais (Ford Chip Ganassi Racing) and Rolex 24 class winner Colton Herta (BMW Team RLL) competing in the GT Le Mans class; and NBC Sports’ INDYCAR analyst Townsend Bell (AIM Vasser Sullivan/Lexus) competing in the GT Daytona class.
Comprehensive live coverage on Saturday begins at 10:30 a.m. ET on CNBC and shifts exclusively to NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app from 1-3 p.m. ET. The final eight hours of the 12 Hours of Sebring will be shown live on NBCSN from 3-11 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports’ comprehensive presentation will utilize 12 of its IMSA and INDYCAR commentators, analysts and reporters on-site for the 12 Hours of Sebring, headlined by NBC Sports’ lead IMSA commentating team of play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey, Rolex 24 winner & former Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver A.J. Allmendinger (analyst), and former IMSA GT driver and analyst Calvin Fish (analyst). NASCAR on NBC lead announcer Rick Allen and INDYCAR on NBC analyst Paul Tracy will also call portions of the race.
INDYCAR on NBC analyst Townsend Bell, INDYCAR on NBC reporters Kevin Lee, Jon Beekhuis and Brian Till, and NASCAR on NBC reporters Dave Burns, Kelli Stavast and Parker Kligerman will provide reports on-site from Sebring.

MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS FROM INDIANAPOLIS – SATURDAY ON NBC SPORTS GOLD SUPERCROSS PASS AND NBCSN
NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season this weekend from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. Eli Tomac won last weekend’s 450SX Class event in Daytona and is now tied with Marvin Musquin for second place (203 points) in the 450SX Class season standings, 19 points behind Cooper Webb (222 points). Meanwhile in the 250SX East Class, Austin Forkner claimed the win in Daytona – his fourth win in five races this season – and leads the 250 SX East standings by 23 points.
Ralph Sheheen, five-time Supercross champion and seven-time Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael, host and former racer Daniel Blair, and reporter Will Christien will call the action.

Approximately 1,250 vehicles will cross the auction block at this weekend’s inaugural Mecum Auctions event in the Phoenix area. Main attractions included a 1959 Bonneville Streamliner Super Shaker, a 1932 Duesenberg Model J, and a 1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T Convertible. The auction will also feature a special collection devoted to NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Sr., which includes several race cars he drove during his legendary career.
Scott Hoke will host coverage on-site in Phoenix, alongside analysts John Kraman and Stephen Cox, and reporters Bill Stephens and Katie Osborne.

FIRESTONE GRAND PRIX OF ST. PETERSBURG DELIVERS BEST SEASON-OPENING INDYCAR AUDIENCE IN NBC SPORTS HISTORY
NBC Sports’ coverage of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg (1:40-3:49 p.m. ET) averaged a Total Audience Delivery of 502,000 viewers across NBCSN, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app, making it the most-watched INDYCAR season opener in NBC Sports history. The TAD of 502,000 viewers was up 94% compared to NBCSN’s first race last season in Phoenix (258,000 in primetime, 4/7/18) and up 42% vs. the 2018 average for NBCSN Sunday afternoon races last spring (353,000). The race peaked with 513,000 TV-only viewers in the final quarter-hour as Josef Newgarden took the checkered flag for Team Penske.
