One-Hour Special Recaps First-of-its-Kind Amateur Fishing Tournament Offering $1 Million Top Prize
STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 2, 2021 – NBC Sports presents special encore coverage of Johnny Morris’ Bass Pro Shops U.S. Open National Bass Fishing Amateur Team Championship this Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. ET on NBC.
A first-of-its-kind amateur fishing tournament, which took place at Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks of Missouri, the three-day National Championship featured a guaranteed purse value of $4.3 million and a $1 million top prize for the first-place team.
Sunday’s one-hour special recaps the three-day tournament, featuring 23-year-old Logan Parks and 20-year-old Tucker Smith, classmates at Auburn University, claiming the $1 million first-place prize.
