Chelsea’s stable of youngsters on loan is set to benefit Bournemouth this season.
Nathan Ake was one of the Hornets’ most consistent performers in their return to the Premier League last season, and has signed on for a year at Vitality Stadium.

It’s Ake’s third loan, having also been off to Reading. Just 21, Ake has been a Dutch international at every age up to U-21.
“We are delighted to welcome Nathan to AFC Bournemouth,” commented chief executive Neill Blake. “For a player of his age he already has great experience in the Premier League and we believe he will bring a lot to our squad. He is an international player with great pedigree, so we are really excited to have him join us for the upcoming season.”
Ake is a strong defender with midfield capability and great burst moving forward. HE could be a major coup for the Cherries’ defense.
Bournemouth received good performances from Steve Cook and Adam Smith last year amongst others, but with Tyrone Mings still recovering from last season’s big injury, Ake will likely be defending again.
