Is Diego Costa about to miss four months of football?
The Chelsea man was given a second yellow for an altercation with Gareth Barry that saw him appear to head butt the Everton man, and then bite him on the neck.
Costa’s reputation won’t benefit him here, and surely referee Michael Oliver didn’t see the Brazilian-born forward appear to bury his teeth in Barry’s neck.
Earlier in the match, Costa spit at Oliver’s feet.

The one thing Costa has going for him is that Barry did not react as if bitten. Perhaps it was more “lippy” but how did we get to a point where I am being paid to describe the level of mouth-to-neck contact between two players?
What say you, Chelsea fans?
