After a massive win over crosstown rivals Manchester United, Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini reminded everyone that in the end, it is only one win.

Pellegrini said City came out strong and played well until they took the lead, but admitted their play fell off as a ten-men United squad fought tirelessly for an equalizer.

After Chris Smalling was sent off in the first half for two foolish yellow cards, Pellegrini brought on Samir Nasri and Edin Dzeko as City looked to step on the throttle and capitalize on a weakened United defense. However, City sat behind the ball as United pressed, and Angel di Maria would have tied the match if not for a fingertip save from Joe Hart.

City sit six points behind league-leaders Chelsea, but their manager said that in the Premier League, you can never predict what will happen in the future. With 28 matches the go, Pellegrini said the only thing he is sure of is that his side will continue to fight to defend their title.
