The United States women’s national team is in fine form, and fittingly throttled a Colombian team that hasn’t played since July.
The 7-0 decision in Connecticut featured goals from all angles. Allie Long scored her first and second USWNT goals, while Crystal Dunn, Mallory Pugh, Carli Lloyd, Tobin Heath and Christen Press also scored in the win.

The latter’s was a thing of beauty, a soaring arrow past the keeper.
The two teams meet again Sunday in Chester, Penn. The Yanks are 9-0 in 2016, and have conceded just one goal.
