Clearly distressed by his name being out of the headlines for 30 seconds, Harry Redknapp gave an interview to BBC Radio that touched on everything from his quitting Queens Park Rangers the day after the transfer window closed to his desire to own a club.
But if Redknapp owned a club, who would he blame for transfer failings?

Sarcasm aside, Redknapp delves into why he quit QPR. He said his knee was stopping him from being around training and scouting other teams in person, let alone off-pitch activities like walking his dogs and golfing (Read further comments here).
From the BBC:“It’s been in my mind for a while, struggling with my knee, and it just got more and more difficult.
“I felt I was letting everyone else get on with what I like doing. I got to the stage, with 16 games to go, that somebody who can give it 110% at the helm would be a better bet than me.”
Redknapp also said he’d like to see Tim Sherwood get his job, and that he one day would be interested in either investing in or owning a club:
