French publication L’Equipe is seizing the fact that Eden Hazard was on Chelsea’s bench this weekend and adding a lofty claim: That Hazard has already told his teammates that he’s skipping town this summer.
Hazard, 24, scored 14 goals and added nine assists in the Premier League last year, leading some to compare the Belgian to world superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

He’s yet to score for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, and has just two assists through nine matches. And apparently he wants to leave London.
It’s easy and probably right to argue that Hazard’s drop in standard is the main reason Chelsea has dropped down the Premier League table, but losing him would be a major blow even to the rich club at Stamford Bridge.
