The Cristiano Ronaldo to Paris Saint-Germain just won’t go away and his actions following Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over the French champions at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday did little to stop the rumors.

Given the latest revelation, it’s enhanced them.

French publication Les Parisien is claiming that a hug and embrace between Ronaldo and PSG’s manager, Laurent Blanc, at the end of the game saw the former say the following words.

“Your team play very well. I would love to work with you,” Ronaldo said.

Hmm. Interesting.

With Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes claiming his client would like to stay at Real for life, and Ronaldo saying as much recently but also not ruling out anything in the future, the rumor mill continues to spin into overdrive.

Given the fact that Ronaldo also said he’d “go to Qatar before I play for Manchester City” there goes one of a few select teams who can actually afford his wages. It seems like a move to PSG or heading back to Manchester United are the Portuguese superstars only real options if Real’s all-time leading goalscorer ever chose to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
