Cristiano Ronaldo wants to stay at Real Madrid forever. Well, at least until he retires.

The 30-year-old superstar has become the all-time leading goalscorer at Real this season as he has 323 goals in 309 games for Los Blancos since joining from Manchester United in 2009.
Rumors have persisted about Ronaldo re-joining United, the club where he made his name after Sir Alex Ferguson signed him from Sporting Lisbon as a teenager, but after receiving his record fourth European golden boot on Tuesday, the Portuguese forward seems to have one thing on his mind: staying at Real for good.
Not content with trophies and accolades at Real, the marauding forward from Madeira is also hoping for success on the international stage.

Speaking to Spanish publication Marca that he is hoping to lead Portugal to glory in France next summer, as he’s eyeing the 2016 European Championship crown for his first trophy with the national team.
“At club level and on a personal level I’ve already won everything,” Ronaldo said. “But I haven’t won a title with the national team,” lamented Ronaldo, a beaten Euro 2004 finalist and a World Cup 2006 and Euro 2012 semi-finalist. It would be the pinnacle of a great career [winning the European championship] and this is what I’m hoping for. My hope is that 2016 will be the year.”
