Manchester United, West Ham, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have also brought in players for club-record fees for the first season of a new three-year broadcasting deal for domestic and international rights to the Premier League worth a record 8.3 billion pounds ($10.8 billion).
The 23-year-old Baston, who has been capped by Spain at youth level, is the second Spanish striker to join Swansea this week after Fernando Llorente. Baston came through Atletico’s academy, and scored 18 goals on loan at Eibar in La Liga last season.
