UEFA Champions League, at the half: Arsenal flying, Real Madrid being held

At half time around the UEFA Champions League, all seven games are evenly poised.

Both English teams are in action with Arsenal ahead vs. Galatasaray and Liverpool being held away in Basel.
See below for an update on all of them, as 45 minutes remain in matchday two of Europe’s elite club competition.

Group A

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Juventus

The Italians have had 70 percent of the possession but Atletico have had more efforts on goal. Slow burner.

Malmo 1-0 Olympiakos

Swedish side Malmo are holding their own in the UCL as former West Brom striker Markus Rosenberg gave them the lead.
Group B

FC Basel 0-0 Liverpool - Follow live

Stalemate in Switzerland but the Reds are looking pretty disjointed on the road. Must do much more in the second half.

Ludogorets 1-1 Real Madrid

A shock was on the cards as Ludogorets took the lead against the reigning European Champions through Marcelinho but Cristiano Ronaldo first missed a penalty kick and then scored one to make it 1-1 at half time.
Group C

Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 Benfica

Kiessling gave Leverkusen the lead after tapping home a lose ball from close range, then Son Heung-min scored before half time as Benfica are looking at a second-straight defeat.

Group D

Arsenal 3-0 Galatasaray - Follow live

Danny Welbeck gave Arsenal the lead early on at the Emirates as he dinked the ball through Fernando Muslera’s legs after a great pass from Alexis Sanchez. Welbeck grabbed a second before the break, then Sanchez got in on the act to give the Gunners a commanding lead.

Anderlecht 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

Ciro Immobile made it two goals in two UCL games for Dortmund as the Italian forward has BVB ahead in Belgium.
