We’ve had just over a week to digest Bob Bradley’s arrival at Swansea City as the first-ever American coach in the Premier League.

Yeah, it’s still easily one of the biggest ever moments for the U.S. Soccer community.
Bradley, 58, has spent the last five years coaching overseas after leaving the U.S. national team in 2011. The New Jersey native has gone from coaching the Egyptian national team to tiny Stabaek in Norway’s top flight and then to Le Havre in Ligue 2 in France.

Finally, he’s landed a job in one of Europe’s top five leagues, something no other American has ever done.
Landing at Swansea is a big deal not only for Bradley but the wider American soccer community and if the former USMNT boss does well, it could open up doors for plenty of his countrymen to follow in his footsteps in Europe.
