Brazilian midfielder Ronny Heberson buried a scorching free kick for Portuguese-side Sporting in 2006, clocked at a ridiculous 131 miles per hour.

In comparison, the fastest baseball pitch ever recorded was 105.1 mph, and the fastest hockey slapshot clocked in at a measly 108.8 mph.
