In the three-man defense John Terry is selected after ushering Chelsea’s back line to a 0-0 draw at Watford, while Saints’ Virgil van Dijk gets the nod and so does Man City’s Nicolas Otamendi.
In midfield Dele Alli’s superb season continues with another accolade, while Aaron Lennon took his chance for Everton with a goal to be included, plus Cheikhou Kouyate and Anthony Martial made it after scoring in comfortable home wins for West Ham and Manchester United respectively.
Rounding off the team of the week are two-goal men Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane as both Leicester and Tottenham Hotspur continue to fight for the title, plus Benik Afobe grabbed the winner for Bournemouth as he settles into life in the PL extremely well.
