Watch Live: Everton vs. Crystal Palace (Lineups and Discuss)

Everton v Aston Villa - Premier League

Howard had a wonderful season for Everton.

Paul Thomas

Everton welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park on Wednesday (Watch live, 2:45 p.m. ET online via NBC Sports Live Extra) as the Toffees know a win will take them back in to the top four at Arsenal’s expense.

Roberto Martinez’s side are flying and are looking for their eighth-straight win in the league, something they have not done for over 30 years. Crystal Palace are no slouches, as they’re looking for their fourth-straight win.

The Eagles have soared clear of the relegation zone and are comfortably in midtable after Tony Pulis has masterminded a remarkable turnaround. Everton will be up for the battle but know that Palace are extremely organized at the back after they kept three-straight clean sheets.

In team news Everton start with Aiden McGeady on the wing as Steven Naismith and James McCarthy are on the bench. Palace start with two strikers up top, as Marouane Chamakh and Cameron Jerome will try to cause some damage.

Everton: Howard; Coleman, Stones, Distin, Baines; Barry, Mirallas, Barkley, Deulofeu, McGeady; Lukaku. Subs: Joel, Hibbert, Naismith, McCarthy, Osman, Garbutt, Alcaraz

Crystal Palace: Speroni, Mariappa, Delaney, Dann, Ward, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Puncheon, Chamakh, Jerome. Subs: Hennessey, Parr, McCarthy, Ince, O’Keefe, Gayle, Murray
