WATCH: NYCFC’s Pirlo and Villa help set up Poku for a cheeky finish

There’s been a thriller in Columbus tonight, and Kwadwo Poku’s first of two goals sure makes it difficult to imagine he’s only been a pro for two seasons.

Of course, it helps to have Andrea Pirlo and David Villa on your side. Poku checks to the former’s scything ball and flicks it to the latter, who sends it into the 18.

The goal scorer finishes it off with a flashy outside of the foot flick. The match was suspended, tied at 2, in the 77th minute.

Poku, 23, was born in Ghana and discovered in the NPSL just a few years ago, and now he’s teaming up with Pirlo and Villa to do things like this:
