We’ve got a packed slate of baseball to bet on Saturday and I’ve picked out two late games which I’m seeing plenty of value in. Let’s get to them.

Atlanta Braves (-120) vs. Seattle Mariners (+100) Total: 7

Seattle doesn’t really prefer to hit against lefties, judging by its .150 ISO and 22.8% strikeout rate, and this lineup certainly won’t want to hit against Max Fried, who is on another level right now.

The southpaw has pitched to a 2.48 ERA in 163 1/3 innings with above-average to elite numbers all across the board. He’s striking out hitters at a 23.1% clip and his barrel rate is a crazy low 3.4%.

So, against a team which can’t hit for power and strikes out a ton against lefties, Fried is in a good spot. That’s all I really need to see because while George Kirby has been alright for the Mariners on the other side of this matchup, he really hasn’t been nearly as good as Fried to make up for the discrepancy in offenses.

Edge: Braves -120

Los Angeles Dodgers (-140) vs. San Diego Padres (+120) Total: 7.5

For whatever reason, Blake Snell really brings it when he faces the Dodgers. He’s at a 1.76 ERA in seven starts against L.A., which is super encouraging considering it feels like the old Snell is making his way back.

Snell has now allowed just one earned run over the last two starts, spanning 12 innings, and it’s also worth noting he was sublime against the Dodgers earlier this season when he allowed just a run over five innings with 12 punchouts.

The Dodgers will counter with Julio Urías, who has a solid 2.40 ERA in 48 2/3 innings against the Padres. San Diego is not very great against lefties, sitting 18th in wRC+ in that split, so I think both men in chorus will produce an under.

Edge: Under 7.5
