There are only four games on the NBA slate tonight and injuries will play a role in handicapping tonight’s games. Bradley Beal is questionable for the Wizards, De’Andre Hunter and Lou Williams are questionable for the Hawks and Paul George and Rajon Rondo are questionable for the Clippers. I would also keep an eye on the status of Kawhi Leonard.
Charlotte Hornets vs. Washington Wizards (+3.5) Total: 230
The Hornets, which are currently the fourth seed in the East and 3-1 ATS this season as road favorites, invade Washington tonight on a four-game winning streak ATS. The last time these two teams met, the Hornets scored a 19-point victory. The opening Total in this game was 231.5, but it has since been bet down to 229.5. On the season, Charlotte is 12-8 to the Over as the road team, but they are 8-2 to the Under during their last 10 games. I’m going to continue to ride that trend.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Denver Nuggets (-5) Total:220.5
The 76ers and the new-look Denver Nuggets meet tonight in the Pepsi Center. The 76ers are 4-1 SU in their last five games, while the Nuggets are 9-13 ATS at home this season. This would normally be a spot where I would fade the Nuggets, but that’s not the case tonight. with Philadelphia playing its fifth-straight road game tonight. Nothing in sports betting is absolute, but I fade teams this deep into a road trip 90% of the time.
Edge: Nuggets -5
Edge Finder Plus Tip: When Philadelphia is a road underdog, the Over cashes 71% of the time.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns (-6) Total: 221
The Phoenix Suns, which are currently the second seed in the West, host the Atlanta Hawks tonight. They will be a tough out in the playoffs. The Suns opened up this game as a 6.5 point favorite, but PointsBet has the Suns as 6-point favorites currently. Some shops have them as 5.5-point favorites. All NBA line movement is not to be trusted. The Hawks are playing their sixth-straight road game tonight.
Edge: Suns -6
Orlando Magic vs. Los Angeles Clippers (-11.5) Total: 215
The Clippers host the Magic on the second night of a back-to-back tonight. Paul George is already questionable for the Clippers and it wouldn’t surprising to see Kawhi Leonard taking a rest day. The Magic have only won two of their last 10 games SU, but are 7-3 ATS in that time frame. The Clippers are 8-2 SU and ATS in their last 10 games. The Total in this game opened up at 217.5 and has been bet down to 215. I think that number is too low, especially when you consider the Clippers are 15-8 to the Over on their home court.
Edge: Over 215
