Charles McAdoo blasted a solo homer on Monday, leading the Blue Jays to a 2-1 win over the Red Sox.
McAdoo wasn’t even in Toronto’s initial lineup until Kazuma Okamoto was scratched with a knee contusion. He broke a scoreless stalemate with a fifth-inning solo shot into the right-field stands. It was his first round-tripper since homering in his big-league debut back on May 29.
