Chulk had a 2.21 ERA in 20 1/3 innings for Syracuse. He should spend the rest of the year in the Toronto pen and be rather effective.

Stratton was just recalled on Friday, but he’ll head right back to Triple-A Gwinnett to make room on the active roster for Spencer Strider’s return on Sunday. Stratton has made just one appearance with the Braves this season, firing a scoreless inning while striking out one. It shouldn’t be long before he earns another opportunity with the big league club.

The 27-year-old right-hander will make his highly anticipated season debut on Sunday against the Rockies at Coors Field. He looked sharp during his recent minor league rehab assignments, but fantasy managers should probably wait and see what he looks like on Sunday before trying to rush him back into lineups.

The 29-year-old outfielder was off to a solid start at Triple-A Gwinnett, slashing .270/.348/.420 with a pair of homers, 11 RBI and eight stolen bases in his first 113 plate appearances. He’ll provide depth in the Braves’ outfield with Ronald Acuña Jr. (hamstring) sidelined.

We have yet to receive word on the MRI results, so the severity of the strain — and how much time the superstar outfielder is slated to miss — are not yet known. José Azócar was promoted from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move to take his place on the Braves’ active roster.

McGee was just up to provide a fresh arm in the bullpen for a couple of days while the Brewers figured out what to do with Brandon Woodruff’s (shoulder) spot in the rotation. The 28-year-old hurler has thrown two scoreless innings with a 1/1 K/BB ratio in two appearances with the Brewers this season. He should get another opportunity at some point this summer.

As expected, Henderson will join the Brewers to fill the void in their rotation left by the injury to Brandon Woodruff (shoulder). While he has struggled in his lone appearance with the Brewers this season, Henderson registered a scintillating 1.78 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and a 33/8 K/BB ratio over 25 1/3 innings in five starts for them during the 2025 campaign. The Brewers are working to manage his workload this season, but if they’re going to let him go at least five innings and take the ball regularly in the starting rotation, then he’s worth a look in all mixed leagues.

The 33-year-old infielder plays nearly everyday for the Red Sox, so he has certainly earned a day off. He’s off to a very slow start offensively this season, slashing an underwhelming .206/.244/.302 with just two homers, 17 RBI and two stolen bases. Andruw Monasterio will start in his place at shortstop on Sunday and will bat fifth against Cody Bolton and the Astros.

It appears to be nothing more than a routine day off for the switch-hitting slugger. Bell hasn’t quite delivered the punch that the Twins were hoping for in the middle of their lineup this season, hitting a meager .226/.313/.348 with three homers and 17 RBI. Kody Clemens will start in his place at first base and will bat sixth against Jays’ right-hander Trey Yesavage.

Melton is working his way back from a right elbow strain that he suffered during the spring. They’ll continue to ramp him up cautiously with the expectation that he could be ready to go by the end of May. Depending on the Tigers’ needs at the time, he may be better suited in a multi-inning role out of the bullpen initially rather than working out of the rotation.

He suffered the injury when he jammed his thumb on first base while sliding headfirst. It’s a tough break for the Mets and for Mauricio, who finally had an opportunity to run with a full-time gig while Francisco Lindor (calf) is shelved. Bo Bichette slid over to cover shortstop after Mauricio was removed on Saturday with Brett Baty covering third base and that may be the Mets’ best path until Lindor is ready to return.
