Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters Thursday afternoon that Jasson Dominguez was diagnosed with a low-grade left AC sprain in his left shoulder and would require a trip to the injured list.
The 23-year-old slugger sustained the shoulder injury, as well as a head injury, when he crashed into the wall during the first inning of Thursday’s contest against the Rangers. So far, all concussion tests have come back negative. When asked about a timeline, Boone noted that Dominguez would miss at least “a few weeks”. Fantasy managers can expect to be without him for most, if not all, of May.
