The state of Oklahoma graduated Dylan Bundy and Archie Bradley to pro baseball last season and Hensley follows in their footsteps. Hensley, who has a great frame at 6'4'’, 220, has a solid fastball and a killer curve. He will have to develop another pitch or two and clean up his mechanics. If he can do so, he could be a steal for the Bombers.

Boyd’s start was the second since coming off the injured list, and it wasn’t as effective as the first one where he threw 4 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball against the Mets. The 35-year-old gave up eight hits, and while he didn’t walk anyone, he clearly didn’t fool the San Diego lineup with just two strikeouts in the contest. This is much more in line with how Boyd was pitching before his back and knee ailments, and a far cry from the hurler he was for the majority of 2025. He’ll look to get back on track against the Orioles on Tuesday, assuming there’s no changes to the rotation order.

Sears surrendered eight hits, and three of those left the ballpark in a start that didn’t come close to matching his season debut against Atlanta this past Wednesday. The 30-year-old clearly had command issues, as he also walked three batters and threw 52-of-95 pitches for strikes before exiting. Sears will try and bounce back in his next scheduled start, but that’s likely to come Sunday against the Dodgers. Probably not a good idea to bet on a rebound for that one.

Tatis took Matthew Boyd deep in the first inning, and Javier Assad left one over the plate to the 27-year-old seven innings later. The power results are starting to show up for Tatis after a disastrous — from a homer perspective, anyway — start to the season, and he’s up to five after having just one coming into the month of June. Expect that roundtripper total to increase rapidly in the second half of 2026.

McLean allowed just three hard-hit balls in his first scoreless start of the year. He’s previously allowed only one run five times, including 13 days ago against the Reds when the lone run he gave up was unearned. This makes him 5-5 with a 3.78 ERA ahead of next start Monday in Atlanta.

Williams hasn’t had a ton of save chances — tonight’s was his first in 12 days and fourth in June — but he’s gone over two months with blowing one. Luis Urías singled but was the only Blue Jays to reach in the ninth tonight.

This is the fifth time Gausman has allowed exactly one run this year, but he’s won just one of those starts. He’s definitely had his share of bad outings, too, which is why his ERA is sitting at 4.19, but the Jays just aren’t giving him any margin for error. He’ll face the Giants next.

Alvarez collected three hits against the Twins on Tuesday, but none bigger than his blast in the fourth inning. With the bases loaded and two outs, he took Joe Ryan deep for a grand slam to highlight a six-run inning for Houston. The 29-year-old slugger is up to 26 homers, 59 runs scored, and 60 RBI while slashing .314/.428/.618 across 374 plate appearances.

Clemens knocked a base hit and scored a run in the first inning, then singled and scored again in the fifth, crossing home for two of the team’s four runs. The versatile 30-year-old is hitting .241/.305/.467 with 13 homers, 37 runs scored, 35 RBI, and six steals across 287 plate appearances.
