Rowland-Smith is hoping to get invited to a major league camp. The 30-year-old left-hander hasn’t pitched in the bigs since 2010, when he posted an ugly 6.75 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 109 1/3 innings with the Mariners.

The Reds needed a spot on the active roster for Nick Lodolo, so Franco was the odd man out. The 25-year-old has allowed eight runs (seven earned) on 15 hits in 14 2/3 innings out of the bullpen this season. He will likely get another chance this summer.

Lodolo is set to make his season debut on Friday. He had a blister issue crop up at the end of spring training and then had it reappear on April 2nd during his first rehab build-up. Blisters have been a recurring issue for Lodolo in the past, and his command in his last Triple-A rehab appearance was not great, so we’d rather stash him on our bench for this first start than make him active, but he deserves to be rostered in most league types.

This has been a tough season for Bido. The White Sox were his seventh organization in the last five months. He could return to them if he clears waivers but perhaps another team is willing to claim him and give him a shot.

The 25-year-old Schweitzer was up at the beginning of April and made one appearance. He’ll provide some depth in the White Sox’s bullpen.

Carrasco was designated for assignment on Tuesday to make room on the active roster for Raisel Iglesias, but the Braves were able to keep him in the organization as pitching depth.

It was a short stay on the big league roster for Jones, who could return to the Marlins organization on a minor league contract if he clears waivers.

This move was known for most of the week, but is now official. Snelling had an official breakout last season, and then continued that with an impressive start to this season, posting a 1.86 ERA and 44/15 K/BB ratio across 29 innings at Triple-A. He’s worth an add in all formats, but it should be noted that the jump to the big leagues is a large one, and rookie pitchers tend to be inconsistent.

Castro posted a 3.14 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 14 1/3 innings at Triple-A, but he has just a 10/4 K/BB ratio. He’ll serve as bullpen depth for the Yankees, but could head right back down when Carlos Rodon comes off the injured list.

This move was announced on Wednesday and is now official. Jones intrigues people because he’s a huge man with impressive power and a .258/.366/.592 slash line with 11 homers, 41 RBI, and seven stolen bases in his first 142 plate appearances at Triple-A. However, Jones also has an astonishingly low 59 percent contact rate overall at Triple-A with a 32 percent strikeout rate. It’s incredibly difficult to be a starter at the MLB level if you make that little contact. Jones is 6'6", but he’s not Aaron Judge, despite what comparisons you might see. We would not pick up Jones unless you’re in a five-outfielder league, desperate for power, or in an OPS format. In addition to Jones’ contact issues, Giancarlo Stanton (calf) is not expected to be sidelined too much longer and would most likely take Jones’ spot on the roster.

The Yankees announced on Wednesday that Domínguez would miss “a few weeks” with the injury, so this comes as no surprise. The other issue for Domínguez is that, by the time he’s healthy, Giancarlo Stanton should also be back with the Yankees. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues don’t need to hold onto Domínguez.
