Bobby Witt Jr. hit a two-run homer and drove in three runs to help the Royals to an 8-2 rout of the Rays on Thursday.
He also drew a pair of walks, and he was hit with the bases loaded to score another run. The two-run blast came off Shane Baz to break a 1-1 tie and give the superstar his third homer of the season. Witt Jr. should see the ball travel over the fence more in the next few months, but his “lack” of power is hard to complain about considering his .322 average and nine stolen bases over the first 32 games of 2025.
