Josh Jung went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI on Tuesday evening as the Rangers boat raced the Twins in Minneapolis.
Jung delivered a two-run single off of Simeon Woods Richardson in the fifth inning that extended the Rangers’ lead to 5-2, then scored on a a two-run double by Kyle Higashioka. He also added a two-run double as part of a six-run rally in the eighth inning and scored on a ground out off the bat of Higashioka. With his two-hit evening, the 27-year-old third baseman is now slashing .259/.305/.406 with seven homers, 27 RBI and four swipes in 226 plate appearances on the season.
