Rangers optioned RHP Caleb Boushley to Triple-A Round Rock.
Boushley has amassed a 5.04 ERA in 30 1/3 innings during his three stints in the Rangers pen this season. The league has a 52 percent hard-hit rate and a 12 percent barrel rate against him.

Phillies optioned RHP Seth Johnson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Johnson was roughed up for five runs — three earned — in his 1 2/3 innings against the Cubs on Monday. He’ll head back to the minors with Chase Shugart up to provide bullpen depth.
Is there larger issue with Crochet's performance?
Eric Samulski discusses Red Sox ace Garrett Crochet's disastrous outing against the Twins and whether fantasy managers should be worried about his performance moving forward.
  • PHI Relief Pitcher #55
Phillies recalled RHP Chase Shugart from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Shugart gets a chance to make his debut for the Phillies if he gets into the game. He’s a fresh arm with Seth Johnson heading to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
  • BAL Left Fielder #13
Heston Kjerstad (hamstring) has resumed baseball activities.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that manager Craig Albernaz told reporters that Kjerstad remains without a timetable for a return. The 27-year-old outfielder suffered a hamstring strain in spring training, and is looking at a role that doesn’t have fantasy relevance whenever he gets back to Baltimore.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #39
Andrew Kittredge (shoulder) had his rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk paused due to paternity leave.
Kittredge will be away from the Tides while taking care of something more important than baseball. The 36-year-old has a chance to be back with Baltimore as a high-leverage option by the end of April.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #45
Keegan Akin (groin) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.
Akin has not been able to pitch in 2026 due to a left groin strain picked up just before the end of spring training. The left-hander will be a key cog in the Baltimore bullpen once healthy.
  • BAL 2nd Baseman #7
Jackson Holliday is being shut down for a few days due to soreness in his wrist.
Holliday will get some time off as he continues to recover from the hamate fracture he suffered in his wrist. The 22-year-old should return to action shortly, and has a chance to be back with Baltimore near the early portion of May.
  • NYY Relief Pitcher #73
Yankees recalled RHP Yerry de Los Santos from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
De Los Santos, 28, gives New York a multi-inning arm for their bullpen. He replaces Jake Bird, who was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move after Monday’s win over the Angels.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #29
Chris Cotillo of Mass Live reports that the Red Sox will transfer Johan Oviedo (flexor) to the 60-day injured list.
The move will clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Jack Anderson, who will be called up Tuesday. Oviedo has a flexor strain and isn’t expect to start throwing until the middle of May. The move to the 60-day list doesn’t change his timeline at all.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #78
Red Sox optioned LHP Tyler Samaniego to Triple-A Worcester.
Samaniego will get the boot with Jack Anderson joining the Red Sox in his place. Samaniego will likely be back at some point as a middle-inning option over the coming months.
  • CHC Relief Pitcher #33
Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register reports that the Cubs are promotion LHP Ryan Rolison from Triple-A Iowa.
Rolison and Luke Little will both get the chance to help the Chicago bullpen from the left side, according to Birch. The 28-year-old is a former first-round pick who has bounced around organizations since forging a 7.02 ERA with the Rockies.
