Logan Webb allowed three runs with five strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Tuesday.
The Cardinals were all over Webb right away, tagging him for three runs on five hits in the first inning. He settled in nicely, holding the Cardinals scoreless over five more innings of work, striking out five batters. The 28-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 3.30 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 216/46 K/BB ratio across 201 2/3 innings. Webb’s campaign is likely over with the Giants officially eliminated from playoff contention with Tuesday’s loss.
