Bryan Woo allowed three runs with three strikeouts over seven innings in a loss against the Padres on Tuesday.
After two scoreless frames, the Padres got to Woo with three runs on four hits in the third inning. Woo would give the Mariners four more scoreless innings before departing after the seventh at 92 pitches. He struck out three. The 26-year-old right-hander is off to an outstanding start, posting a 2.16 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 20/5 K/BB ratio across 25 innings. He’ll look to keep it going against the Rangers in Seattle on Sunday.
