Noah Cameron allowed three runs over four-plus innings in his return to the Kansas City rotation Sunday against the Tigers.

He was lifted after Kevin McGonigle singled to start the fifth. John Schreiber, though, was able to strand the runner. Cameron hadn’t pitched since Apr. 30 because of back tightness. His latest subpar effort leaves him with a 5.55 ERA. The league is batting .300 against him. It seems quite possible that he’ll be replaced by Stephen Kolek after Cole Ragans comes off the injured list.

Phillies recalled RHP Alan Rangel from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to start on Wednesday.

Rangel was sent down just four days ago, but he can be called back up since the team put Lou Trivino (thoracic muscle spasm) on the injured list. Rangel has a 3.38 ERA in 16 innings with the Phillies and will start on Wednesday against the Reds.

Phillies activated RHP Brad Keller (foerarm) from the 15-day injured list.

Mets recalled RHP Tobias Myers from Triple-A Syracuse

The Mets were counting on Myers to provide length out of their bullpen this season, but he has pitched to a 6.21 ERA in 42 innings. His results were much better in nine innings at Triple-A, so the team will hope he can carry that over into his MLB innings.

Mets selected the contract of RHP Xzavion Curry from Triple-A Syracuse

The 27-year-old had a 4.74 ERA in 49 1/3 innings in Triple-A, operating primarily as a starter. He figures to pitch in bulk relief work for the Mets.

Mets designated RHP Matt Seelinger for assignment.

It’s a tough 24 hours for Seelinger. The 31-year-old Long Island native made his MLB debut with the Mets on Tuesday but was thrust into a 9-9 game because the rest of the team couldn’t stop the Royals from scoring. Seelinger then allowed seven runs on five hits in two innings and has now been let go.

Mets placed RHP Austin Warren on the 15-day injured list with a right forearm strain.

Warren had a 4.63 ERA in 35 innings for the Mets this season out of the bullpen. There is no word yet on the severity of the injury or if it will require surgery.

Giants recalled C/OF Jesús Rodriguez from Triple-A Sacramento

This is Rodriguez’s second stint in the big leagues this season after hitting .231/.302/.385 with two homers, seven RBI and one steal in 43 plate appearances over 14 games back in May. He will likely be a part-time player through the All-Star break.

Giants placed OF Jonah Cox on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain.

Cox was having a really solid season in Triple-A and had hit .269/.269/.500 with one home run and four sterals in 29 plate appearances for the Giants this season. There’s no word yet on the severity of the oblique strain, but it should keep him out a month or more.

Pirates recalled C/1B Rafael Flores Jr. from Triple-A Indianapolis.

Flores Jr. is 2-for-3 with a home run in two games with the Pirates this season. He’s hitting .228/.362/.342 with four home runs and 38 RBI in 65 games at Triple-A this year and is firmly off the fantasy radar.

Pirates placed C/1B Endy Rodríguez on the 10-day injured list with a left glute strain.

Rodríguez just can’t catch a break. The 26-year-old had played in just 18 MLB games in 2024 and 2025 due to injury but had looked good since returning this season, hitting .260/.388/.470 with five home runs and 16 RBI in 35 games. He’ll now head back to the injured list, but, with the All-Star break looming, hopefully won’t miss too much time.
