C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected in the second quarter of the Bills’ Week 6 game against the Raiders.
Instant replay showed Gardner-Johnson spitting in the direction of Brock Bowers and other Raiders players after he was seen jawing with Bowers after a play. The veteran defensive back was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and immediately disqualified from the game, and will likely be facing a fine and suspension later in the week. The 28-year-old DB has started all five games he has appeared in this season, and entered the day with 25 tackles, two pass breakups, and one interception.
