Tyler Huntley completed 23-of-34 passes for 298 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Ravens’ 35-13, Week 7 loss to the Bengals.

This makes it two-straight games where Huntley and the Ravens failed to score in the second half. Huntley was solid in the first half, throwing for 227-1-0 on 21 passes, with his lone touchdown pass coming on a 48-yard screen pass to Zay Flowers on the Ravens’ opening drive. He would lead the Ravens on two drives that ended in field goals in the second quarter, but the Ravens struggled mightily in the second half as the Bengals rallied for 35 unanswered points. At one point, Huntley had the Ravens in position for a short field goal to go up 16-14, but passed on the points and opted to go for it on fourth-and-two, which resulted in an incomplete pass to tight end Josh Cuevas. It was reported during the game that Lamar Jackson (ankle) would be back for Week 8’s game against the Ravens. Now sitting at 4-3 on the year, it goes without saying that the Ravens are in desperate need of Jackson in what is shaping up to be a highly competitive AFC North division.

Huntley led the Ravens on a 10-play drive that ended with a two-yard touchdown pass to tight end Josh Cuevas to start the game. On the Ravens’ second drive, Huntley and Cuevas would connect on a 29-yard pass, only for that drive to end in a field goal to put the Ravens up 10-0 early. Unfortunately for Huntley and the Ravens, that would be all the scoring they would manage, as they were kept off the board for the remainder of the game thanks to a stout Browns defense that managed to sack Huntley three times and force a turnover from Derrick Henry. This was far different than last week’s start against the Falcons, when Huntley was responsible for three total touchdowns, and a reminder of the high-variance play we have come to expect from him. With the Ravens now sitting at 4-2 on the season, they will hopefully have Lamar Jackson (ankle) back under center next week when they play host to the Bengals.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Jackson will miss a second straight game with his ankle injury despite reports at the beginning of the week that said he had a “realistic” chance to play in Week 6. It was also reported after the team’s overtime win against the Falcons that Lamar was “closer than people realized” to playing in Week 5. Jackson and the Ravens will now set their sights on having him ready to go in Week 7 at home against the Bengals, while Tyler Huntley will draw the start this week against the Browns.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
All signs are pointing to Tyler Huntley making his second straight start. Jackson was a DNP for all three practices this week and will likely be ruled out in the next few hours, meaning Huntley will have a chance at a “revenge game” against a Browns team that he spent part of the 2024 and 2025 seasons with. Huntley threw for 201-2-0 in last week’s win over the Falcons and rushed for another 20 yards and one touchdown. He’ll have some appeal in 2QB and Superflex leagues on the road against the Browns.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Jackson still has a chance to face the Browns this week, albeit a very small one. Backup Tyler Huntley will likely be under center for the second week in a row, although coach Jesse Minter said last week that Jackson doesn’t have to practice “much” before being cleared to play. Huntley is a viable QB2 if he gets the start.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Jackson’s ankle injury, which has been described as neither high nor low, kept him sidelined in the Ravens’ win over the Falcons. It’s possible the Ravens will be cautious with Jackson and have Tyler Huntley start one more game in Week 6 against the Browns. Huntley against the Falcons threw for 201 yards and two scores. He was the seventh most accurate QB of the week. Jackson’s practice participation will be closely monitored over the next few days.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
According to Rapoport, Jackson was “closer than people realized” to playing in Week 5 against the Falcons, which is an encouraging sign as the Ravens enter a pivotal matchup against the Browns. Jackson’s injury didn’t appear too severe when it initially happened in the second quarter of Week 4’s win over the Titans, so it’s not too surprising to hear that he nearly suited up for Sunday night’s game. That said, Jackson’s injuries have lingered in the past, so we’ll be monitoring his status throughout the week. If he’s not able to go, Tyler Huntley would make a second straight start for the Ravens, who currently lead the AFC North with a 4-1 record.
  • BAL Quarterback #5
Huntley was in command of the offense throughout, showing poise and pocket presence in the face of one of the most stout defensive fronts in the league. The Ravens marched the field on the opening possession but a dropped touchdown from tight end Mark Andrews forced them to settle for a field goal. Their next possession resulted in an Andrews fumble that was returned for a touchdown, forcing the Ravens to play from behind for the remainder of the game. Down by eight with just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Huntley took the ball and led the team to a touchdown and successful two-point conversion to force overtime. He would then lead an opening possession touchdown drive in the extra frame, with the team escaping with an unlikely comeback victory on a game-sealing interception. Huntley could be tasked with another start in Week 6 against the Browns after late-week reports indicated that Lamar Jackson could be headed for another absence. Huntley will be a middling QB2, should he start.
  • BAL Quarterback #5
Huntley figures to be a low-end superflex QB2 in Week 5, probably a bottom-five option for the week given how well the Falcons defense has played and how weak the Ravens skill position room looks. He led the team to zero points in the second half last week against the Titans.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Many thanks to Minter for ruling Jackson out now rather than forcing fantasy managers to navigate a questionable designation all weekend. Jackson did not practice at all this week for the Ravens and felt like a near lock to miss this week’s game after it was reported on Tuesday that he had an “outside chance” to play on Sunday night against the Falcons. Minter said earlier in the week that he did not think Jackson’s injury would result in a “crazy long-term” absence, so we’ll see how things go for him next week when the Ravens prepare to face the AFC North-leading Browns in Week 6.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Jackson did not practice this week, but head coach Jesse Minter said on Wednesday that his QB1 could still play even if he doesn’t practice. We’ve heard this one too many times when it comes to Jackson and nagging injuries, and it’s not often we see him suit up in these scenarios. His status will be one to keep an eye on when the team releases its final injury report, but even if Jackson is given the questionable tag, we would recommend stashing an emergency option at QB in the event he doesn’t start. Given that the Ravens play on Sunday night, Jackson’s backup, Tyler Huntley, and Falcons starter Michael Penix Jr. would be the most logical stashes as Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen, who play on Monday night, are rostered in nearly every league.

Cooper Kupp caught both targets for 20 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win over the Chiefs.

Kupp saw sparse usage as Jaxon Smith-Njigba went off in the first half and the team transitioned to a run-heavy approach while playing with a lead after the break. Fellow receiver Rashid Shaheed departed with a knee injury following a collision with Smith-Njigba in the end zone at the end of the second quarter, which is something gamers will want to monitor ahead of a Week 8 meeting with the Bears on Monday Night Football. Kupp could work his way into the FLEX discussion if Shaheed missing time.

AJ Barner caught 4-of-5 targets for 42 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win over the Chiefs, adding four yards on three carries.

All three carries for Barner were tush push plays that resulted in first downs in key situations, while his five targets tied his second most of the young season. Even so, that was not enough to return a usable fantasy week outside of tight end premium leagues, keeping Barner best left on the bench of returned to the waiver wire, regardless of the severity of Rashid Shaheed’s injury.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 9-of-12 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win over the Chiefs.

Is there anyone in the league doing it better than Smith-Njigba at the moment? The reigning receiving leader put on an absolute show in this one, making two nearly identical bread basket catches down the left sideline in the second quarter, the first of which he snuck inside the pylon for his touchdown. He was forced out at the two on the second, resulting in an end zone interception from Sam Darnold two plays later. Those two long receptions before the break helped push Smith-Njigba to 126 yards and a touchdown before halftime, adding an additional 24 yards on three more receptions in the final two frames as the Seahawks transitioned to a more ground-heavy attack while playing with the lead. Fantasy’s early-season cheat code has now gone over 100 yards in six of seven games while notching a league-leading eight receiving touchdowns. It goes without saying, but Smith-Njigba remains the overall WR1 in a solid matchup against the Bears in Week 8.

Emanuel Wilson rushed 24 times for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win over the Chiefs, adding 15 yard son one reception.

Wilson handily outperformed former Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker in the latter’s return to Seattle, spiking his fantasy production with a 21-yard touchdown scamper late in the fourth quarter with the Seahawks in ice mode. The outburst went down as the second time in Wilson’s career in which he hit the century mark in rushing, pleasing fantasy managers that were forced into his services in Week 7 through both byes and injuries. Wilson’s days as the lead back in Seattle are likely numbered with veteran Zach Charbonnet reportedly nearing a return from his 2025 torn ACL. That could occur as early as Week 8 when the Seahawks face the Bears.

Sam Darnold completed 20-of-28 passes for 257 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Seahawks’ 20-3, Week 7 win over the Chiefs, adding 17 yards on two carries.

Darnold continued to flaunt his connection with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba with zero regard to the naysayers, feeding his alpha 12 targets on 28 pass attempts, the latter of whom accounted for 157 of the 257 pass yards for Darnold. As you probably guessed, Smith-Njigba was also the recipient of Darnold’s lone touchdown throw, which was a dime down the left sideline on a corner route that the veteran signal caller dropped into the bread basket. The two would connect on another similar play later in the the same quarter in which Smith-Njigba was forced out at the two, with the result of that drive Darnold’s interception in the end zone. Darnold continues to do just enough for his team and not enough for fantasy managers that thought they could grab cheap production late in drafts, better sent back to the waiver wire than inserted into starting lineups. The Seahawks next face the Bears on the second half of back-to-back Monday Night Football games, where Darnold remains a shaky fantasy option.

Xavier Worthy caught 3-of-6 targets for 11 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 7 loss to the Seahawks.

Worthy struggled to separate from primary coverage of the Seahawks throughout, also committing a drop in a crucial situation in the second half. The Chiefs continue to show hesitancy in utilizing Worthy in a downfield role, which is of particular concern for his fantasy managers considering the absence of Tyquan Thornton. Worthy is better left on fantasy benches ahead of a Week 8 meeting with the stingy Broncos, particularly if Rashee Rice returns from injury.

Cyrus Allen caught 1-of-2 targets for 18 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 7 loss to the Seahawks.

Allen was the recipient of Patrick Mahomes’ first target of the game, which he took down the right sideline for a tidy 18-yard gain. He would disappear into oblivion the rest of the way as he continued to play behind Andrew Armstrong and Jalen Royals, with Justin Watson also worked into the game plan in this one. Head coach Andy Reid has a long history of taking his time to develop rookies, meaning fantasy managers are likely forced to be patient. In other words, keep Allen on fantasy benches, for the time being.

Noah Gray caught all three targets for 44 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 7 loss to the Seahawks.

The fact that the team’s top two tight ends tied for the most production through the air at a modest 44 yards tells the story of how the game went against the Seahawks, who limited the Chiefs to just 213 yards of total offense. The absences of the team’s top two receivers continues to place stress on an offense with no true vertical threat, although their primary downfield option was lost for the season prior to their bye. Gray remains unlikely to return weekly fantasy value for as long as Kelce remains healthy.

Travis Kelce caught 4-of-8 targets for 44 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 7 loss to the Seahawks.

While Kelce moved into sole possession of the No. 5 spot on the NFL’s all-time receptions list, the Chiefs suffered their first defeat of the season as they struggled to the move the football against the tenacious Seattle defense. Their offense lacked any downfield threat in the absence of their top two receivers, while Xavier Worthy drew primary coverage. Much of Kelce’s aerial work remains tethered to the short areas of the field in his age-37 season, lacking the burst and YAC ability that once defined his game. Even so, achieving such a lofty accomplishment is a testament to his lasting and standout career. That said, fantasy managers are sure to be disappointed with the early-season as the veteran tight end has surpassed a modest four receptions just once through six games. He gets another difficult matchup on the interior against the swarming Broncos defense in Week 8, where fantasy managers are likely best off leaving him on the bench.

Kenneth Walker rushed 14 times for 36 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 7 loss to the Seahawks, adding 21 yards on four receptions.

Walker was held to below 4.9 yards per carry for only the second time this season while also failing to find the end zone for the second time through six games, with his longest rush going for a meager seven yards. Seattle had all the answers on the defensive side of the ball as they held the Chiefs to just 213 yards of total offense on just over 24 minutes in time of possession. One of fantasy’s breakout stars in the early going of the 2026 season will face another difficult matchup on the road against the Broncos in Week 8, where he remains an elite RB1.
