  • PHI Wide Receiver #16

Quez Watkins caught 8-of-11 targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 18 loss to the Giants.
With A.J. Brown going down and the Eagles playing catch up, Watkins made the most of his opportunities. He scored the Eagles’ only touchdown on a pass from Marcus Mariota. Depending on the severity of Brown’s injury, Watkins could be depended more upon moving forward into the playoffs.
  • CIN OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #75

Bengals signed LT Orlando Brown Jr. to a two-year contract extension.
Brown was set to enter a contract year. Now he’s under contract through 2028. Brown hasn’t received stellar grades from Pro Football Focus in recent years, but the Bengals won’t be paying him like a top-end tackle either. The move keeps him in a familiar offense and allows Cincinnati to spend elsewhere in what’s left of free agency and the draft.
Smith can be a floor raiser for Jets playmakers
Kyle Dvorchak unpacks Geno Smith's expected reunion with the New York Jets following an "utter disaster" in Las Vegas and the outlook for him as a potential floor raiser for playmakers.
  • FA Tackle #78
    Browns released OT Jack Conklin.
The former No. 8 overall pick has been with the Browns for the past six seasons. He is now looking for a new home for just the second time in his career. Now 31 years old, Conklin isn’t the elite tackle he once was. He has also struggled to stay healthy in recent years. Conklin has appeared in more than eight games just twice in the past five seasons. Still, other teams will see his body of work and give him a shot at right tackle this year.
  • BAL Offensive Lineman #52
Ravens agreed to terms with OG Jovaughn Gwynn, formerly of the Falcons, on a one-year contract.
Gwynn is following his former offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford to Baltimore. He spent the first three years of his career in Atlanta. Gwynn only took the field for 11 offensive snaps in 2025, but he was active for all 17 games and saw some run on special teams. He will be a depth option for the Ravens.
  • FA Quarterback #15
    Ravens released QB Cooper Rush.
Baltimore brought back Tyler Huntley to back up Lamar Jackson, leaving Rush without a role on the team. Rush made two starts last year and appeared in part of a third contest. He threw for 303 yards, zero touchdowns, and four interceptions. Despite his disastrous play in Baltimore, Rush should be able to find backup duties elsewhere.
  • LAC Running Back #34
Chargers agreed to terms with RB Keaton Mitchell, formerly of the Ravens, on a two-year, $9.3 million contract.
Mitchell became an unrestricted free agent after the Ravens chose not to tender him. It’s hard to imagine much of a better landing spot for the speedster. Chargers OC Mike McDaniel turned De’Von Achane into a home run machine in Miami, and Mitchell is one of the few players who can match Achane’s top-end speed. Mitchell will be parked behind Omarion Hampton in LA, but he should hold some fantasy value if he can secure the RB2 gig. Mitchell ran for 341 yards at 5.8 yards per carry last year. His career average is over six YPC. Even as strictly a backup, Mitchell will be an intriguing fantasy bet in 2026.
  • FA Guard #77
NBC Sports Houston’s Aaron Wilson reports that the Texans have shown interest in free agent OG Wyatt Teller.
Wilson is quick to note that nothing is “pending or imminent there.” A calf injury ended Teller’s 2025 season prematurely. The veteran offensive guard, now 31 years old, remains a moderately capable run blocker, having earned a 65.7 PFF run-blocking grade last season.
  • LV Defensive End
Maxx Crosby declared himself “a Raider” on social media.
Prior reports indicated that Crosby was unwilling to play for the Raiders ever again. He has seemingly changed his mind, telling Raiders fans, “I’m back.” Crosby was nearly traded to the Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks, but the Ravens withdrew from the deal yesterday, citing a failed physical. Earlier today, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported that the Raiders’ asking price for Crosby had not changed. Trading away Crosby for draft picks makes sense for a team that is ostensibly beginning a rebuild. Whether the Raiders’ front office has changed its mind about jettisoning him remains unknown. But Crosby, for his part, appears ready to don the Silver and Black once again.
  • CAR Tackle #77
Yosh Nijman retired after seven seasons in the NFL.
Nijman entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Packers in 2019. He signed on with the Panthers in 2024. Nijman took his first regular season snaps in 2020 as backup left tackle. Over the course of his career, Nijman played more than 975 offensive snaps at both left and right tackle, playing primarily on the left with the Packers and primarily on the right with the Panthers.
  • CLE Cornerback #20
    Browns re-signed CB D’Angelo Ross.
The Browns signed Ross off the Texans’ practice squad last season. He fared well on an admittedly small snap sample, 41, earning a 63.6 PFF defense grade after the signing. He also contributed on special teams, but recorded zero special teams tackles for them.
  • FA Quarterback #1
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that free agent QB Kyler Murray plans to have virtual meetings with 3-5 teams that could need a starting quarterback in 2027.
The virtual meetings will take place tonight and tomorrow. Murray is also flying to Minnesota this evening and will meet with the Vikings in person tomorrow. The Vikings are widely considered to be his likely landing spot, with Murray expectedly assuming the starting job for 2026, and “a one-year minimum deal could come together quickly.” Per Pelissero, the virtual meetings give Murray a chance to reintroduce himself to people he hasn’t seen since the 2019 NFL Draft, “and get a jump start on his free agent process a year from now.” Murray is also reportedly open to studying as a backup in 2026 with a team that could open up the starting role in 2027.
