It’s as obvious as things get in the NBA. The Sacramento Kings are 19-20 when DeMarcus Cousins plays this season (including a couple he had to leave early due to injury). They are 1-7 when he is out.
He is out Monday night when the Kings host the Milwaukee Bucks, the team announced on Monday. Cousins sprained his left ankle late in a loss to Memphis Saturday, when Marc Gasol dove for a loose ball and rolled up on Cousins’ ankle.
The good news is X-rays were negative and it doesn’t look as if Cousins will be out long.
Kings C DeMarcus Cousins is day-to-day with ankle injury, but source says there is no concern right now about him missing the All-Star Game.

The Kings also will be without sharpshooting two guard Ben McLemore due to a sprained wrist on his shooting hand.
