Russell Westbrook must have said some choice words to officials on Thursday night. The Oklahoma City Thunder star was ejected with 6:41 remaining in the third quarter after complaining during a trip to the free-throw line for the Memphis Grizzlies.
The first technical was assessed after Andre Roberson fouled Memphis’ JaMychal Green. According to officials, Westbrook was arguing about whether the ball had touched the rim on a play prior to Roberson’s foul. Westbrook was quickly hit with his first tech from ref Brian Forte for keeping the conversation going long after they felt it was necessary.
Incredulous, Westbrook began immediately arguing with Forte about the assessment.

Forte ushered Westbrook to leave the arc so the Grizzlies could shoot the technical free throw, and as the Thunder star walked away he told Forte, “That’s bull---t.”
Westbrook was quickly hit with his second technical, and ejected from the game.
Oklahoma City’s MVP candidate finished with 21 points, five rebounds, and zero assists while shooting 6-of-19 from the field.
Westbrook has been averaging a triple-double this season, and the outing against the Grizzlies was notably difficult in several ways.
But have no fear: Westbrook is still averaging a triple-double despite his ejection.

#Thunder guard Russell Westbrook will likely get fined for his postgame comments, saying he doesn't get reffed the way other players do.
